  1. Fellowship is our responsibility to grow in the grace of Christ.
    a. Fellowship trains us in bearing with one another (Rom 15:1-6).
    i. Our responsibility to grow in this way is not optional (v. 1).
    ii. Fellowshipping in this way is not for our pleasure, but for pleasing one another (v. 2).
    • Fellowship has the good of others in view.
    • Fellowship is for the building up of our brothers and sisters.
    • We have the best example of true fellowship to follow.

iii. Fellowshipping in this way teaches us true unity of the body of of Christ (v. 3).
iv. Fellowshipping in this way teaches us hope and the word of God as our primary source (v. 4).
• Instruction is best accomplished in this fellowship.
• Instruction is put into real, practical application in this fellowship.

v. Fellowshipping in this way is the fruit of God's work in His children (v. 5).

vi. Fellowshipping in this way is the genuine worship of Christ's church (v. 6).
