God Reaffirms Jacob in the Covenant

The LORD God reaffirmed His covenant promises to Jacob after a terribly scandalous and trying time in his life and the life of his family. Jacob took strong spiritual leadership of his family, got rid of the idols in his household, and led them to worship the Lord as God directed. Covenant life became stronger, and God’s plan of redemption stayed perfectly on course.
