Nothing New

As we sit on the threshold of a New Year we consider the unchangeableness of God. This text considers this and tells us that there is nothing under the sun. Despite what the world says, we soberly consider that there is nothing new. God does not change. This gives us great comfort. Our lives are not our own, but belong to the Creator. God was, is, and will be, and He cares for us. We can take comfort in this as we look to the New Year.
