This week's passage (Gal. 4:21-31) follows on directly from this. Paul speaks of two mountains, two women, two offspring, and two cities, but all of this hinges on their being two covenants. The burden of his message is that in Christ we belong to a New
Covenant, which is, in fact, the Covenant of Promise given to Abraham.
