The Symbolism of the Lord's Table

In the Reformed understanding of the Lord's Table, and indeed of the sacrament of Baptism, the two important words that are used are: Sign and Seal. They are a sign of spiritual truths, and they constitute a seal or a pledge of the covenanted grace of God revealed in the sacrament. This morning, we will briefly and simply examine the basic truths of the symbolism to be found in the Lord's Supper:
