The World after the Flood

In this section we have the final and only recorded words of Noah as he delivers a Patriarchal prophecy concerning his three sons and their descendants. It is a similar scenario to Jacob's prophecy concerning his 12 sons at the end of his life recorded in Genesis 49.

We also have the invaluable historical genealogy of chapter 10 which provides very helpful information on the development of the nations after the flood and is a tremendous testament to the doctrine of inspiration. It also lays down an important foundation for the account of Babel in chapter 11.
