A Future and a Hope

Griefs; sadness; hopes; anxieties; burdens, do we bring all these things to God in prayer? Is He not a God who answers prayer? Does He not intervene when circumstances such as described by the hymnwriter Phillip Doddridge come upon us - "In scenes exalted or depressed, Thou art our joy, and Thou our rest; Thy goodness all our hopes shall raise..." Have you a burden, have you a care, are you anxious, then take these things to God. Pray with faith and expectation that God will hear your urgent prayer, and that He may grant you or your church, a future and a hope.
