Jeremiah's Message of Hope

Jeremiah gives a much needed message of hope to Israel. Although God was not ready to pardon the current backsliders who were following Baal worship. The Lord was willing to give a message of hope for the future. Jeremiah spoke of a time when God would restore a godly remnant to the land he had promised by inheritance to their forefathers. Zion would in that day be called the Throne of God and all nations would come unto her. The ark of the covenant would no longer be needed or even remembered because the presence of God would dwell in the Holy City of Zion. It would be a time of restoration and blessing to the people called of God. This message with its corresponding prophecy of end-time events causes us a to remember that when Jesus returns there will be a new and more glorious day. Jeremiah's message of hope is one that we should all remember is included as a part of God's prophetic program.
