Righteousness Found Among the Gentiles

Abraham, who should have known better, repeats the same sins he committed in Genesis 12, while Abimelech, a man who seemingly should not know better, fears God and repents of his error in taking Abraham's wife, though he did it in the integrity of his heart based on Abraham's lie. In so doing he showed God's work of the law written upon his heart and that in every nation him that feareth God and worketh righteousness is accepted with him.
