The Faithful Church Pt 3: Devotion to the Gospel

Just what is it about the Gospel that we believers need to be reminded about, again and again, by the breaking of bread?

1. We need reminding that it is by the Gospel that we have been delivered from Satan, sin, death and hell.
2. We need reminding that the Gospel is the only ground on which we are justified and declared righteous before God, and
3. We need reminding that the Gospel is not just the means of deliverance from something, it is also the means by which we are delivered to something; namely, obedience and fruitfulness to the glory of God.
