A Misunderstanding Corrected
a) Preaching is a God-ordained part of the corporate life of the church - 2 Tim. 3:16-4:2
b) But the Bible makes clear that preaching is not enough.
i) Eph. 4:11-12 - All members are ministers.
ii) 1 Cor. 12:7 - The Holy Spirit ministers to the body through each member.
iii) 1 Cor. 12:15,22 - The ministry of each member is indispensable.
iv) Heb. 3:12-13 & 10:24-25 - Each member is commanded to edify other members.
v) Eph. 4:16 - The whole body causes the growth of the body.
