Laodician Church Falls

Roughly 30 years or so after its inception, the church at Laodice was warned by Jesus that if they continued on their current path - being lukewarm - He would spew them out of His mouth. They wouldn't lose their salvation, but they would certainly lose their place of blessing. How did it happen and what was the result of His warning to them?
