Matters Settled By the Resurrection

The resurrection of Jesus Christ provides proof that everything necessary for salvation has been accomplished by His death on the cross. It is also confirmation of a coming resurrection for all people and the coming judgment to follow. Each person will individually stand before the resurrected Messiah who will stand as Judge to reward believers for what they have done in service to Him and unbelievers will face sentencing in hell for their sin. The basis of this judgment will be God's righteous standard as He has made clear in His revealed word and by the Word. Jesus, who gave His life as the payment for all sin also provides for the repentant believer His righteousness fully and perfectly satisfying the requirement of God for life in His holy presence.
