Here we have a prophecy of the restoration of the remnant of Israel, as well as the nations' ingrafting into it, anticipating Paul's illustration of the Olive Tree in Romans 11. Even now this process is going on, and will until Jesus comes again some day.
Jesus reigns NOW as God's Mediatorial King (notice the present tense verbs in Ephesians 1:20 and following!) and is NOW bringing all things under His feet.
