Standing before Pilate, Jesus revealed the purpose of His life on earth; John 18:37: “To this end was I born, and for this cause came I into the world, that I should bear witness unto the truth...”

His people have a responsibility to stand for the truth – a fact that Psalms 20:5 and 60:4 make abundantly clear: “Thou hast given a banner to them that fear Thee, that it may be displayed because of the truth ... in the name of our God we will set up our banners.”
