I. JESUS CHRIST WAS SENT TO PUT GOD'S PLAN INTO PLACE
--"born of woman, born under the law, to redeem those who were under the law, so that we might receive adoption as sons."
a.) The Son as Redeemer God
5. The Son's continuance to redeem & restore is His intimate activity in His creation. (1Peter 1:18-25)
a. We are sustained by Christ ONLY because we have been purchased by Christ. v.18
b. We are not sustained by earthly things, but by Christ Himself. v. 19
c. Because Christ's redemption was not accidental, His sustaining grace is assured. v v.20-21
d. A mark of sustaining grace is our love for the body of Christ. t
e. Any attempt to survive this physical life will not last.
