78 Glory of God Through Israel's Return

All that God has done in choosing the nation Israel He has done to glorify His name. His efforts in this area have been to demonstrate to the world that He is the Creator and Sustainer of all that we can see on this earth and in the heavens. In fact the Heavens declare the glory of God. The entire panoply of stars and planets are signs pointing to Him. God is telling Ezekiel that He chose Israel and did wondrous miracles through them for the same reason. He clearly says that Nor for your sake do I this, saith the Lord Jehovah. He is working through the nation Israel to bring the His Oracles and His Messiah to this earth.
