The Power of Faith, The Folly of Idolatry

Isaiah's word to Israel in the days preceding the Assyrian captivity was a word requiring faith in Israel's God and a rejection of human alliances and human defenses. The contrast he makes in this passage is between "strong cities" of man's making or the "Rock of your refuge" that was Israel's God. This message seeks to expound this contrast in terms of the folly of unbelief and the power and sovereignty of the living God.
