Sometimes hills or mountains bring us peaceful thoughts; but in Bible times they often hid great dangers, from both man and beast. As the Psalmist looks unto the hills, he is reminded of the Lord, his deliverer. God does not live in the mountains. God MADE the mountains, so our trust in Him is secure and well-founded.
