His Appearing to Save

There are four occurrences of the term "to appear" (vv. 11, 24, 26, 28). In verse 11 Christ appeared to make His public debut as High Priest. In verse 24 Christ appeared in heaven to exhibit His blood for the redemption of His people. In verse 26 Christ revealed God plan to put away sin by His sacrifice. In verse 28 Christ will appear—allow Himself to be seen in rescue and judgment.

We note in verses 27 and 28, His divine appointment, His intervention, and His rescue.
