Examine – Then Proceed

John continues to give us truths where by we can have assurance that we are the children of God. He concludes this section by sharing that we know He abideth in us by the Spirit which is given us. These are tremendous verses to encourage us as well as heeding Paul's advice to examine ourselves to see if we are in the faith.
