The Kingdom Established

79

When the Lord Christ entered upon the scene of history He did so quietly – in secrete - before only Mary, His mother, Joseph and perhaps a few farm animals.

It was many years later, after a series of miraculous feats of healing and an abundance of doctrinal declarations, that He rides into Jerusalem as the long awaited King.
No longer in quiet – nor in secrete – but before a company of men, women and children crying “Save Now: Blessed is He that cometh in the Name of the LORD.”

What that triumphal entry signified is often misunderstood and almost always misrepresented.

This lecture examines the first public Kingly announcement concerning the Establishment of the Kingdom of God through the person and work of the Lord Jesus Christ.
