The resurrection of the Lord from the tomb was a receipt or an approval from God the Father that this one sacrifice was sufficient to save all who would put their trust in Christ as Savour.

i)The historical fact of it.
a)The gospels, all state a physical resurrection.
b)The angels of heaven proclaimed the resurrection.
c)The apostles and five hundred others give witness to the resurrection.
d)It is denied by many theories, (fraud, swoon and vision).

ii)The theological significance of it.
a)Full involvement of the God head, Father Son and Holy Spirit.
b)Preformed by the power of the Holy Spirit.
c)Gods approval of Christ atoning death on the cross.
d)Terrible circumstance if there was no resurrection.
e)What change it the disciples after the resurrection & pray meeting.
