Biblical Duties In Marriage

Our Pastor reminds us that the Christian virtues commended in these verses are not for married people only. Every member of a local assembly is responsible to practice both mutual submission and mutual love. Both submission and love require humility on the part of the one demonstrating the virtue. Submission is forsaking your will for the will of another. Love is pursuing another's interests instead of your own. This is a candid, potent message.
