Who Do You Say He Is?

If someone were to ask you, “Who was Jesus?”, what would your answer be? The answer has to be from you, not from others. What others believe will not get you into Heaven. Each person has to determine who they say Jesus is. If we do not trust in Him, there is no life for us. If we rightly perceive who Jesus is, we are blessed by God’s kindness and mercy. It is very important for us to believe in Jesus Christ. However, our unbelief does not hinder God’s plan. Jesus tells us the truth and we can walk in it and have life, or deny it and be crushed by it. If we follow Jesus we must lay down our lives. God will sometimes redirect our path so that we can do His will. When we die we give up everything. Imagine life 150 years from now. The material and temporal things that we hold on to so tightly here on Earth will not matter at the end of that amount of time. When we lay everything down for Jesus, He gives everything to us. If we gain the whole world and lose our souls, we have lost everything. God’s plan for our lives is so much more than we could ever imagine. We will never regret doing what God tells us to do.
