Great Lessons from the Great Master Part 2

The lessons Jesus is teaching by washing the disciple’s feet

LOVE- Love always serves,  Love does the unsavory, the unpleasant, and the difficult, Love reaches out to the unworthy and the undeserving, Love serves without being served.
HUMILITY - Washing the feet was the job of the lowest servant, the greatest one in the room was the one willing to bow down
LEADERSHIP - Lead by serving, have the heart of a servant
DISCERNMENT - Trust the promise for the sake of who made it
SALVATION - New birth is like a bath - completely cleansed
OBEDIENCE - To live as God has called you to live is the BEST way to live!

When you can’t trace God’s hand, trust His heart.
You can be around the gospel and hear the gospel, but if you never apply it to your own heart you will perish.
