When the Fulness of Time Has Come

Isaiah prophesied that we would not desire the coming Messiah and in this he was correct. As messianic figures go, Jesus was a great disappointment. He had a culturally shameful birth and was raised as a son of a man in a lowly profession. Certainly not the biography of a king let alone a conqueror.
