Why Did Jesus Choose Judas?

Why did Jesus Christ choose Judas to be among the 12 He worked so closely with while on earth? He could have chosen anyone. He could have gone to the cross at anyone's hand…so why choose someone who'd be a constant companion? Jesus chose Judas after spending the whole night in prayer. This may in fact be part of "why" he spent the whole night praying before choosing the twelve. Ultimately the choice was the result of some very deep reasoning in the mind of our Sovereign God, full of lessons for all of us…as we will see in the message.
