He cites the absence of such 'Hunger and Thirst' in the lives of too many Christians, as the reason why the church is in such a sickly state.

He calls on the people of God to give themselves to the pursuit of all righteousness in the knowledge that whilst it is a struggle now, there is a day coming when they will be fully satisfied.
