1 John: I Write Unto You

This passage has two sections with three parts that are repeated.

First group of 3 - I write unto you:

1. Little children: New Christians, born again ones dependent on a more mature Christian.
2. Fathers: Writing to those in spiritual leadership.
3. Young men: Spiritually youthful.

Second group of 3 - I write unto you:

1. Little children (greek Paidia, or toddlers): No longer just a babe because you have known the Father. They now have an experiential relationship with Jesus Christ.
2. Fathers: Implies children - We are to reproduce spiritually.
3. Young men: because you are strong, because the word of God abideth in you.
