Day 1: Read Romans 6:3-5, Galatians 3:27, Colossians 2:12 and discuss: Why do we perform water baptism by immersion? What does it communicate to those watching? What does it mean to be "in Christ"? What has already taken place spiritually for Christians? What does this mean for our day-to-day lives?

Day 2: Read Luke 11:23-25, 39-41, John 8:44, Matt 5:20, 12:44, and discuss: What is the "old man"? What can't help us with the old man? What must be done with the old man? Why is justification better than forgiveness? What two things are involved in justification? How are we justified?

Day 3: Read Luke 11:24-26 and Jam 1:15 and discuss: Why is Jesus' death so important? Why couldn't He simply live a perfect life? What does His death mean for us? What about His resurrection? Why is the word "consider" so important in verse 11? What application does this have regarding resisting temptation?
