A RESURRECTION MEETING, CALLED & GATHERED
Text: Mark 15:37 - 16:7

Summary:
In contrast to the scheming leaders, cruel onlookers and apathetic multitudes who abused and abandoned Jesus during His time of humiliation, the small band of disciples who mourned His death and rejoiced over His Resurrection were evidence of the truth of Jesus’ earlier promise, “I will build My Church.”

I. Called and Sustained by an Act of God.
A. Their Calling was by God’s Purpose.
--A God-Apointed Setting.
--A God-Appointed Visit.
--A God-Appointed Response.

B. Their Perseverance was by God’s Power.
--They left earthly treasures to follow Him.
--They remained with Him at great risk.
--They demonstrated biblical perseverance.

II. Rewarded by the Unmerited Favor of God.
A. Their Faith.
B. The Facts.
C. The Future.
