They Will Look on the Pierced One

The prophet Zechariah was called to bring both a message of judgement and salvation. Judgement was due to Judah's continued unfaithfulness, which came began with it's leadership and trickled down to the sheep. But salvation was coming from the hand of new Shepherd. Though this shepherd would be rejected and ultimately pierced, through this suffering He would bring salvation to God's people.
