God's Wrath

The message that God sends through Nahum is of wrath towards Nineveh, but it is comfort towards Israel. If we want to see the love of God displayed and the wrath of God displayed, we must look at the cross of Jesus Christ. God demands that His wrath must be poured out against sin. In our culture and the culture around the world is moving toward there being no right and wrong. God's wrath should move people to repentance. If God does not punish sin, He is not good. Jesus died to pay for the sins of all who trust in Him. We are not to be surprised when we see the majority of people going in the wrong direction. We should be good stewards of the environment, not so that the planet is saved, but because God made us stewards over it. God's wrath is coming for His enemies we should pray that we are not part of that number. Our focus should be on the fact that there is the peace of God as we seek peace with God.
