Being Sure of the Truth

God does not leave us in doubt about his message of grace. He wants us to be persuaded that we know him. The world wants us to question what we have heard so that we are gathered back into its own ways, and under its power, so, encouragement to look at what has happened to us is very important. Whose word have we heard? Have we not met the living God of grace? God himself is our assurance, and we need to see that the persons he has used to bring us this news have been captured by Christ and that the kindness and truth we find in them is actually the truth of the Lord reflected in them.
