An account of David's wanting to repay a kindness and a war David has with the Ammonites and the Syrians their allies. King David send his servents for to comfort Hanun upon his father's death.. but Hanun , mocked David's ambassadors , abused them, slew them; and it was this that filled the measure of their iniquity, and brought upon them ruin without remedy.
