So I Do ~ Jesus

John 14:31 Jesus said, "That the world may know My love for My Father and that He has given me a commandment, SO I DO..."

The wonder, wisdom and workings of the weather (Job 37).

We are being conformed to Jesus.

The Father has chosen us, called us, converted us, commissioned us and conforming us to Jesus.

When we SEE Jesus we want to see:

His Love [Relational] (compelled)
His Light [Revelation] (clarity)
His Life [Reward] (cause)
His Loyalty [Reliability] (credibility)

Misapplied zeal... (even the greatest acts of zeal, love and loyalty can be mistaken, misguided and tainted with sinful sincerity.) WHY? It's not God's WILL, WAY OR WORK. Illustrated with Peter (14:27-31)

Peter would have died FOR Jesus...
Peter would defend Jesus
Peter would protect Jesus
Peter would pity Jesus

What is POSSIBLE is not always profitable... for me or the kingdom.

What is allowable is not always beneficial for me and my brothers.

What is permissible is not always profitable for me or others.

Our spirit should be:
Why can't my reliability — be what's relatable?

If I can't transfer my reliability, through my relatability, my relatable thinking has become unreliable.

Don't throw out your reliability to promote your relatability with a world that can't connect, abide and relate to Jesus.

Jesus with the scribes:

We can't violate nor diminish the value of the point and purpose of a passage and its eternal truth to appeal, accept or affirm the demands of the culture.

The word can't mean what it never meant.
