God's Covenant is Always Intact

God has not moved the goal line for us regarding what He wants of us. It has remained the same through the ages from the times of Adam, Abraham, Moses and David to the time of the exiles' return from captivity. His covenant is the same now as it was then: He gives His chosen one a name and provides a house or dynasty and a place for His people through an offspring or seed. So for us, Jesus has a name that is above every name, He reigns on a throne that endures forever and at the Cross prepared a place for us that we may be with the Lord forever.
