Gleanings From The Ten Plagues

Most of us are familiar with the 10 plagues that befell the land of Egypt. After reading this unforgettable scene we should ask ourselves, “What can we learn from this account?” Is there something God wants us to understand? Is there anything that can aid us in our daily walk with the Lord?
To answer these questions, we must first survey the Bible to find God’s purpose for the plagues. Following this, we will investigate their divine arrangement to discover how God actively operates in the lives of people and nations. Third, we will discover the progressive nature of God’s dealings. In this we will learn of His patience, mercy and grace even amidst the outpouring of His wrath. Fourth, we will explore various patterns of Satan’s work in this fallen world and finally we will reveal how these plagues are a striking forecast of the future.
