The Lord is Risen

The resurrection is one of the great foundational truths of the Gospel. Peace of mind and the rest of our souls is founded in this event. We look at the way the tomb was after the resurrection - the stone, the cloth, etc. We also look at the angels who rolled the stone away - not to let Jesus out, for he was already out but to let the witnesses in. We are comforted that we will be escorted to heaven and death is but a shadow. Until then we must be faithful and be engaged in the Lord's work and Word.
