He Rose Again!

The resurrection of Jesus is God’s declaration that all He purposed through the incarnation of His Son has been accomplished. Because Jesus lives, your sins really are forgiven; death really has been conquered; the church really does have power; and the kingdom of this world really will “become the kingdom of our Lord and of his Christ.” It’s all true. Because He lives. “... thanks be to God, who gives us victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.” (1 Corinthians 15:57 – NKJV) Today, Jesus is no longer the man of sorrows, acquainted with grief, but is a man of glad power, enjoying the fruit of His labors for us. He rejoices in the presence of His Father, the salvation of His church, the certainty and finality of His kingly rule.
