Cain and Abel: The One Way to Worship

Cain and Abel illustrate the only two religions found among men. Cain brought the fruit of his fields. Abel brought a blood sacrifice. God was satisfied with Abel; He disapproved of Cain and his efforts. Any mixture of man's will or works is rejected by God. The blood sacrifice was a type of and pointed to Jesus Christ and His cross.
