Principal Tools of Postmodernism

105

The topic of Post-Modernism is not usually a familiar one to most Christian believers. It does not have its origin in the Christian church but nevertheless it has entered the culture, the church and individual Christian thinking to the extent that it has become a highly significant factor in the world today. This has occurred slowly and subtly without sufficient awareness on the part of Christians. This section is dealing with the emergence of Post Modernism in society and takes a deeper look at what it is, why it is, and how it functions. This lesson examines the Principal tools used in Post Modernism to further its agenda. These are the tools of Posrmodernism: Subjectivism, Relativism and Revisionism. We will examine these and try to understand the intended effect of Post Modernism on society and the existing Western culture.
