Mary Magdalene and the Risen Christ

This message was given by Pastor Jonathan Stobbs on the Lord's Day allotted as Easter Sunday in the evening. Much has been made of the relationship between Mary Magdalene and the Lord Jesus Christ in recent times, most of it blasphemous. In this message, Pastor Stobbs shows that the love that Mary had for Jesus was a love for her Saviour. She had been forgiven much so she loved her Saviour much. He looks at Mary's reactions as she goes to the empty tomb, and as the the risen Christ graciously reveals Himself to her. An encouraging and challenging message, as Pastor Stobbs shows that those who truly meet with the risen Christ, and see Him as their Saviour by the grace of God, will know tears of sorrow exchanged for tears of joy.
