Crisis 2020: The Coronavirus (Part 1)

We need the truth of God's Word—which is true from the beginning to the end—more than ever right now, for we find ourselves in a situation that few could have envisioned just a short time ago. The spread of the coronavirus has led not only to grave illness and, sadly, many deaths—but also to tremendous economic distress, including closed businesses, lost jobs and unexpected unemployment.
How do we gain a Biblical view of such cultural upheaval and turmoil?
Dr. Andy Woods is uniquely suited to address this subject. He is the senior pastor of Sugar Land Bible Church in Sugar Land, Texas, and the president of Chafer Theological Seminary. He specializes in Bible prophecy, which he has taught around the country and even throughout the world, and is also an attorney who has a great interest in American and world history.
Dr. Woods returns as our special guest teacher for this series called “Crisis 2020: The Coronavirus.” He joins host Wayne Shepherd for this broadcast, which will help us put the entire issue in a Biblical context.
