Unconditional Acceptance

It is grevious how few professing Christians understand the free and gracious nature of the gospel. Many Christians believe that grace is necessary, but they have failed to understand grace as sufficient, and are therefore tormented by the thought they must somehow add something to ensure they accepted by God. The New Covenant is the covenant of the life-giving Spirit, not the letter that kills, and the condition necessary for acceptance was fulfilled perfectly by Jesus, and not the believer. Rejoice, then, in the unconditional nature of your salvation.
