1032 He Is Still Coming Back Pt-1

From 1976 through around 2002 the subject of the Rapture of the Church caught the attention of many pastors and teachers and then it quieted down. Maybe due to the embarrassment that was felt as predictions failed and dates came and went without incident. This is also a sign of the soon return of Jesus Christ. 2 Peter 3:3-4 "Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts, And saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation." If you also consider Matthew 24: 44 "Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh." These verses fit perfectly with the attitude of indifference that believers feel about this future event but we have been admonished to continue watching.
