The Coming of the King

The King has come and inaugurated his kingdom! – vv20-21.
The King will return to complete his kingdom! – vv22-37.
1)The timing & visibility of Christ’s return – vv22-25.

a.Don’t be discouraged or deceived by an apparent delay – vv22-23.

b.His return will be obvious & visible to everyone –v24.

c.His return will come after his suffering & rejection – v25.

2)People will be unprepared and indifferent for his return – vv26-30.

3)A call to remain devoted to Christ until his return – vv31-33.

4)Christ’s return will bring separation & final judgment – vv34-37.
