Child death, why, and where are they?

"Howbeit...the child also that is born unto thee shall surely die."

These were the solemn words spoken by Nathan the prophet to David regarding the child born out of his adulterous relationship with Bathsheba. It was a message which pressed home the very real consequences of sin, for the Lord took the child. This sermon looks at the sensitive subject of child death, and in particular the response which David made to it on this occasion.
