The modern church is changing shape to accommodate a growing disinterest in God. Should children miss church so as to make their championship sports games on Sunday? We also talk to the things we lost when the hymnbooks went out the door. The church lost a body of songs. The people lost an ability to sing. Families hardly sing together any more at home.
